Announcement Search from the Staff Search Bar
Announcements is added to the Blesta staff global search dropdown, so you can search your announcements by title from anywhere in the admin area, hidden and scheduled ones included.
Pin, Hide, and Restrict to Logged-In Clients
Mark an announcement Visible or hide it while you draft it, Pin it so it always appears first, and set Require Login to keep it for signed-in clients only instead of showing it to everyone in the portal.
HTML Content or Redirect Link
Each announcement either opens a full page you write in a built-in rich-text editor, or sends the reader straight to a link you specify, so you can point at a status page, a blog post, or anything else you already publish.
Full Announcement Manager
Create, edit, and delete announcements from a single staff screen with a title, a short summary, and a full body. The list filters by title, visibility, login requirement, pinned, and flash so you can find any announcement instantly.
Flash Alerts Across the Portal
Flag an announcement as a Flash and it pops up as a dismissible alert with its title, summary, and a Read More button. One setting decides whether flashes appear at the top of every page in the client portal or only above the client dashboard widgets.
Scheduled Publishing and Expiry
Give any announcement an optional Publish At and Expire At time and it stays hidden until the window opens, then disappears on its own when it closes. Leave a bound blank to publish immediately or never expire, and set the announcement date yourself when importing older news.
Automatic Publish Email
Taking an announcement live emails every active client using the Announcement Published template, which you edit like any other Blesta email with announcement and client tags available. The email goes out at the moment you save an announcement into a live state, so a scheduled announcement appears on its own when its publish time arrives but does not email anyone then.
Per-Staff-Group Permissions
Viewing, creating, editing, deleting, and searching announcements, plus the staff widget, are each separate permissions you grant per staff group, so only the roles you choose can publish to your clients. **Grant announcement authoring only to staff you trust as administrators:** announcement bodies are published as raw HTML so your rich formatting, embeds, and styling render exactly as written, which means the permission to write an announcement is effectively the permission to put arbitrary markup and scripts into every client's browser.

Removed the "Advanced Editor" setting. The rich-text editor and the HTML content or redirect link choice are now always available

I've been using this plugin since 11th Feb 2023 and it's been working perfectly. Easy to use and adds a lot of value to Blesta.
It is possible to leave a review only if you have purchased this extension or a Club tier which contains it.
